Down memory lane...!!

We all agree to the fact that "memories are like the story books".

 

Each incident or thought or moment is recorded like a chapter in our mind, and when we get some quite time, we can reach out to this book called "Memoirs", and can go through them page by page, incident by incident, moment by moment. 

 

Moments of joy, moments of sorrow, moments of togetherness, love, romance, excitement, friendship, achievement and much more. Some positive, some negative, we go through happiness and through pain.

But the most cherish-able of all are the memories of our golden past, the time well spent with that "Special someone", whether we are with them today or not, whether we could walk the same road or not, whether it was destined to part or not, but our moments gets precious and priceless due to such lovable and happy memories from our lives.

Make happy memories each day and cherish them always.....!!

"घूम रही थी यूँ ही आज

कुछ पुरानी यादों के गलियारों में,

हाथ आ गए मेरे कुछ पुराने खत,

यूँ लगा जैसे,

एक लौ जल उठी है आँखों में,

इत्र की खुशबु थी, किसी खत में

गर्मी की लू का अहसास

कहीं याद थी गौधूली की बेला की

और कहीं शरद चांदनी उदास,

एक उम्र जी ली उन खतों में मैंने,

आँख खुली तो यूँ लगा

सुबह आयी है आज ऐसे

कोई बहुत देर से घर में लौटा हो जैसे...

खामोशियों ने धीरे से पूछा

क्या कोई हमसफ़र छुट गया

किसी सफर में,

काली घटाएं जब भी गुज़रें,

तो देख लेना अपने आसमान को,

कभी बादल का, तो कभी सावन का

भेष धर  के हम आएंगे तेरे आँगन में,

छुपा दिया फिर उन खतों को मैंने,

इस डर से, की कहीं

न जल जाएँ उम्मीदों के दिए फिर से,

मेरी यादों के खंडहर में..... "
